The balloon is going to inflate

Materials:
-Balloon
-Baking Soda
-Vinegar
-Plastic Bottle
-Funnel
-Spoon

FIrst use the funnel to add the baking soda to the balloon. Then put the vinegar in the bottle. Carefully put the balloon over the top of the bottle. Once you are ready lift the balloon upwards tipping the baking soda into the vinegar and watch what happens.

When we tip the baking soda in with the vinegar the balloon inflated    
There were bubbles.
It was foamy
The balloon inflated.

We mixed an acid which is vinegar and the base which was baking soda and when the baking soda touched the vinegar there was a reaction the gas also known as CO2 inflated the balloon. CO2 is known as Carbon Dioxide.
