Sir Peter Blake's Boat

For the first time in 16 years, Sir Peter Blake's boat has returned to New Zealand. Sir Peter Blake was 53 when he died. He was shot by pirates on the Amazon River in late 2001. Over the weekend the boat made its way to the Auckland Viaduct and is now heading towards a coral reef study in the Pacific. Sir Peter Blake was one of the most celebrated yachtsman and his lucky red socks are a symbol of support for Team New Zealand.
