A Man Goes To Jail For 35 Years

A man has been sent to jail for 35 years because of a facebook post that was insulting to the royal family. In Thailand laws prevent people from criticising the ultra-rich monarchy. The 34 year old was convicted by the Bangkok military court. The court punished him with seven years per count but he didn’t get 70 years of jail because he confessed so he got 35 years. Reporters were locked out of the court.
