Three Massive Canyons Found In Antarctica

Three massive canyons have been discovered by scientist under the ice of the South Pole. The canyons are hundreds of kilometres long and are cutting through tall mountains. The canyons aren't visible from the surface and they are buried under hundred of metres under the ice. Dr Kate Winter from a university in the UK, found the hidden features with a radar. The biggest canyon is called Foundation Trough and is 35km wide and over 300km long. The Offset Rift Basin is 30km wide and 150km long. The Patuxent Trough is over 300km long and 15km wide.
