Dear Santa, This year for Christmas I would like you to give food and water to poor countries that can't afford things. I would also like you to give my mum and dad a good holiday. From            Joshua

The Thomas family was at their grandparents for Christmas Eve. But they didn't bring Mog. They had big dinner because it was going to be the last time the kids will see their grandparents for a while. For dinner they had chicken roast and a few vegetables with gravy. The adults were chatting while kids were playing. Once the kids were tired, they went to bed. It was early in the morning and kids were all excited for Christmas. It was a 40 minute trip home but as they were pulling up to their house, they saw that there was a fire engine there. The firemen were putting out a turkey that was burnt. The Thomas family didn't know what had happened but they were sad. The firemen explained what happened. The family walked inside their house expecting to see it ok. The neighborhood came to the door of the house and helped the Thomas family and shared Christmas together.

If kids had tails... If had tails they would create games with them. They would also be able to swing from branches. If leaves were fish... If fish were leaves they would be a popular food. Fishing wouldn't be a thing. Fish would be easy to get. If toes were teeth... It would be really gross and it would be weird to clean them. But I don't know if you could eat with them.

List 5 water/summer safety tips: 1. Go to where you are comfortable in the water. 2. Wear sunblock. 3. Wear a hat. 4. Put your hand up if you are in trouble when you are swimming in the pool. 5. Have a someone watching you while you swim. Where is your favourite place to swim? My favourite place to swim is the pool or beach. What is your best summer/swimming memory? My best memory is swimming in Samoa

I think that the school should have prize giving because kids should be rewarded for all the effort they put into their learning. I think the reason why they cancelled prize giving at the end of the year instead the start, is because they want the kids to still put effort into their learning. Positives: They still have a prize giving for sports. Negatives: The kids don't get acknowledged. The kids don't have anything to work towards. The kids have a reason not to do any learning.

Carpenter: I think this job suits me because I like making/building things in Wood Tech. Skills: Measuring, Communication. Graphic Designer: I think this job suits me because I like designing things. Skills: Creativity, Communication Architect: I think job is good for me because I like designing things. Skills: Design Skills, Communication.

Frogs. I chose to do the animal topic because there are a lot of animals that I don't know anything about.

This week was really hot!

Connecting: My Uncle had to connect with the other adults to decide where we were going in Samoa. Resilience: My Uncle and Aunty lost their wallet and didn't give up on getting it back. Curiosity: My Uncle was being curious by wondering if the eel we found was a snake.

The holidays are good for: Relaxing Going Away Spending Time With Family Watching Movies The holidays are bad for: Nothing My mum said the holidays were relaxing because she only had 2 kids.

Be Helpful:   You can be helpful by cheering someone up. Be Kind:  Kindness is easy to spread. Be Friendly:  It doesn't matter if your not someones friend because you can still be friendly. Be Growth-Minded:  It doesn't matter if you make a mistake because you learn from them.
