A Dish That Was There (Chop Suey)

Joshua Tagomoa is half Kiwi and half Samoan and lives in New Zealand. He likes to play rugby and hockey. He plays hockey for the NPS Hornets team which is undefeated. At the moment he is playing Shaw Cup for Hauraki Plains. In the holidays Joshua went to his cousins house for a family meeting. When Joshua arrived he said hello to his aunty and then went outside to go check out the trampoline. He bounced on the tramp until it was lunch time. When he was on the tramp, he noticed that there was someone he had never seen before. Joshua noticed and American accent coming from him. He then found out it was his cousin he had never meet before. His cousin lived in Texas and was apparently a really good swimmer.

Before they had their lunch they had to bless their food so Joshua’s great uncle did that. After the food was blessed the kids got up and grabbed what they wanted. Joshua didn’t know what half the food was so he only got some chips and chicken. They also had a drink too. Josh had coke. There were a few drink choices because Joshua’s uncle works at Coca-Cola. Once they finished their lunch, the boys went back onto the tramp. Josh’s aunty the told them to go get pudding. For pudding there was ice-cream, chocolate cake, peaches, homemade cookies, and a few other things. Josh chose to get ice-cream and a cookie. Before Josh got to the house, his dad bought 4 tubs of ice-cream to take. The flavours were Chocolate, Vanilla, Neapolitan, and Raspberry Cripple.

As it was getting darker everyone was heading inside. Josh and his brother Ryan started watching the Crusaders vs Sharks rugby game. After watching a bit of that, they decided to get going. Josh’s dad asked if the boys wanted to go watch a movie. The boys agreed and they were off to the movies. Once they got there, it was packed. There was a massive line to just get food and they didn’t really plan what they were going to watch. Josh wanted to watch one movie and his dad wanted to watch another. So we just left and got something to eat because Josh and Ryan were still hungry because they didn’t eat much for lunch. They then went home.
