Holiday Recount

“SIX!!!” In the holidays I went to the Sangha Cricket Academy in Te Puna and there were nine of us at the academy. We practised catching, bowling, driving, and I think I am the best at bowling. The academy had one big pitch where you could pull a net to split it into 2 pitches. We got drinks and free lunch. One night my Dad, brothers and I stayed the night at the academy. My favourite part was bowling because I got 2 wickets.

Also in the holidays I went to the movies with Cooper and we watched Pete’s Dragon, it was really cool. Then we went to the wharf to have lunch and we had hot chips for lunch. Once we had lunch we went to the Thames Mining School. We looked at different rocks and we had a tour of the museum. I found it interesting. After that we went to the park to play. I had lots of fun in the holidays!
