A company has found a way of putting peoples faces into chocolate. You record a video of your face which is then uploaded onto the internet, then it is put onto the website. A machine then designs the face into a ball of chocolate. I think this is a really cool idea and wish I could have my head carved into chocolate. I found this article from Kiwi Kids News I wonder how the machine carves your face into the chocolate? : A detailed 3D printer renders a person into a chocolate lollipop form.

20.2.18 The Spice Girls have confirmed that they are getting back together. It was a rumour for a long time but Victoria Beckham was not wanting be involved but she has now agreed to. The Spice Girls blew up in fame in 1996 and last seen together in 2012.

Today a guy named Lex from Attitude came to our school. He shared lots of jokes and stories with us. My favourite story was the one about his friend being a clown for his job. My favourite activity we did was finding out about what animal we were. My animal I ended up being was a Gold Retriever and a Beaver. If you were a Golden Retriever then it meant that you were caring and if you were a Beaver it meant that you wanted get everything right on the first go you had. Lex was here to talk about us all being different and that no one is different. He talked to us about choices as well. I learnt that I was a caring person and not an entertainer. I also learn that I was a person that wants to always get everything right on the first go and that I'm not a leader as much as I thought I was.

Pit: My pit this week was listening to the refugee book because I don't like to listen to books but I like to read them. Peak: This week I enjoyed playing cricket because I didn't get out and I got 4 runs but we didn't get to field. Interesting: I found the skunk game interesting because it was also a bit risky. I stood up for while on one go.

I like this song because it is inspirational. I like a lot of songs by Imagine Dragon and this is one of my favourites.

Grown ups need to know that we are just kids and have a whole lot ahead of us. They need know kids are better than them at sports other than professionals who are good at their sport. They need to also know the things we are into.

For this blog post we had to ask a new kid how they felt being at a new school. I spoke to Tadhg and Manaia because they are new to our school. They both said that they felt good and that it was fun being here.

I commented on Dylan's blog. I commented on his favourite song blog post. His song he posted was by DJ Noiz.

For this post we had write what we would do in a growth mindset and a fixed mindset. If the challenge was to climb over a wall this is what I would say. If I had a fixed mindset and faced a challenge I would say "I'm stuck!, Help! I can't do it!" If I had a growth mindset I would say "I can do it!

When I get home I like to have afternoon tea and then watch a few Youtube videos. I then play a few games. We then have dinner and after I go back and watch a few videos again. After that I either read a book or carry on with what I'm doing.

My role this year as a year 8 is to be a school leader and role model for the younger kids. Whats special is that younger kids look up to you and will one day will be school leader. You get go to the year 8 dinner and loads of other things!
