77% Of New Zealanders Live In The North Island

From the end of June, 77% of people live in the North Island in New Zealand so that is 3.67 million people. The North Island’s population  grew at a rate of 2.2 percent. Half of New Zealand's population live north of Rotorua and there is 18,000 per square kilometer in central Auckland.

Weekly Reflection

This week I enjoyed making pikelets, making sock animals, and sand gardens! I found making sock animals hard because it was hard to put things on it. I enjoyed working on my IE because I finally finished it. I found shotput in PE challenging because the ball was heavy but I enjoyed long jump and discus.

Coca-Cola Unveil New ‘Sugar Free’ Drink

Coca-Cola has unveiled a new product that will replace the Coke Zero brand. The new drink has been launched in New Zealand and Australia after it was trialed in Mexico and will be later launched in the US. The drink uses the same sweetener as Diet Coke. The company says that it tastes like it’s “classic” full-sugar variety.

Satellite To Measure Pollution Launched

A satellite has been launched into space so it can help scientists study Earth’s atmosphere. The satellite is named Sentinel-5P and was built in the UK. It is part of a project called Copernicus and helps to understand what his happening to Earth’s environment. The project is named after a famous scientist and he was one of the first people to suggest that Earth revolved around the sun. Another satellite called Sentinel-2A is in space and studies the world’s food crops growth. There is also another satellite called Sentinel-5P and it records the level of gases.

Fish Jumped Into Mans Throat

A British man caught a fish and it jumped into his throat and medics had to come to the pier in Boscombe. They were told that he was kissing the fish to celebrate his catch but it wriggled out of his hands and went into his throat and it was blocking his airway. His friend performed CPR on him while the emergency services were on their way. The paramedic got the fish out on the 6th attempt.

Connor Connor is nice and is fussy when it comes to food. He likes to play video games and eat lollies. He has light brown hair and has one brother and one sister. He likes to play games and have fun. He is my cousin!
