End Of Term Reflection

Image
My 3 favourite experiences this term was Volleyball, Litm, and PE. I liked Volleyball because I learnt new skill and had never played in a tournament. I liked Litm because it was two days and I ran 4 workshops. I liked PE because I liked playing different games. I have learnt loads about my IE topic. Something I would change is longer brain breaks. A goal for next term is to finish My shelfie milestone.

Volleyball Reflection

Near the end of this term, we started to play volleyball and in my team was Jonty, Sophie, Noah, Elaina, Mathew, Katie, Kurt, and Jocelyn. In our first session we learnt how to serve and then we learnt how to dig and in our second session, we practised serving and digging. Then we learnt how to do a set and then on our last week we had a tournament. We played all the teams and we only won two games but the ones we lost were close. At the end we had a mini prize giving and I got the reward of most valuable player.

Free Choice Writing

The Shoe Storm On a nice sunny day, Bill, Bob, and Ben went out to their farm to feed their animals. They fed the cows, chickens, pigs, horses, and the sheep. They then went to milk the cows and when they got back to their house, they had breakfast and for breakfast they had cereal and toast. They then went to the beach to relax, and when they got there, no one was there! They played in the water. Bill was surfing, Bob was fishing, and Ben was making sand castles. Then they all relaxed and had lunch and had a drink. On their way home, dark clouds covered the sky like it was a big blanket. Then there were flashes of lightning and they heard big rumbles of thunder. Then shoes started to fall out of the sky and they were all really cool shoes! Bill, Bob, and Ben then decided to collect some of the shoes so they could keep them. Now it was nighttime and they had just finished milking the cows. They had the fish that Bob had caught for dinner and then had chocolate pudding! Th...

This week we did Kowhaiwhai patterns instead of Word Of The Week because it is Maori Language week. We had to draw patterns and write down the meaning of them. I enjoyed writing on my blog because I write about a new chocolate that was invented. I found some of my Mangahigh tasks a little bit challenging but I also liked how they challenge me.

Feelings

When you feel happy you feel great about yourself and you are being cheerful. You get the feeling of being bright and it makes you want to do everything you enjoy doing. One thing that makes me happy, is when I arrive to school because I like to learn new things and see my friends. When you feel sad you are down and can be miserable. You have the attitude of not wanting to do anything and you just want to be alone. Something that makes me  sad, is when my brothers always get me into trouble! When you feel scared you are afraid of something or frightened. You feel nervous sometimes when you're in a big event or something like that. Sometimes I feel scared when a horrendous storm comes by because I don’t what is going to happen.

New Chocolate Invented

A chocolate firm has created the fourth type of chocolate and is the first new type in 80 years. The chocolate was created with ruby cocoa and the chocolate is named after it’s colour. The white chocolate was created in the 1930s. The cocoa  bean was used to create a confectionary with berry fruitiness and luscious smoothness.
