Another activity I have enjoyed is my Language Milestone because I am working on my postcard and I have written a paragraph in Italian. I liked doing my blogpost because one of my blogpost was about someone finding a fruitcake in Antarctica. I also liked doing word of the week because it was on paper and we had to draw an image.

Fruit Cake Found In Antarctica

14.8.17 A fruit cake has been found in Antarctica and is 100 years old. It was found in a hut and was found in a “as new” condition. It was brought to Cape Adare by Robert Falcon Scott’s northern party in 1911 and has been preserved ever since. The team that found it was surprised that it looked edible but it smelt a bit like rancid butter. The taste of the cake after 100 years will be a mystery. The team in Antarctica are on a journey to take items that were left by explorers. The project has just finished after 14 months of effort to bring back items like clothing, tools and other things as well.
